Meet the Founder
My name is Andreas Athanasiou, and I am the Founder and Registered Migration Agent (RMA) at Olympus Migration.
I have worked in the Australian immigration industry for more than a decade, and since becoming a Registered Migration Agent in 2016, I have had the privilege of assisting more than 1,000 individuals and businesses with a wide range of migration matters.
Over the years, I have worked with people from more than 100 countries across six continents, from individuals and families to small businesses, major Australian companies and high-profile clients. I have also shared my knowledge through articles, interviews, seminars and presentations both in Australia and overseas.
For me, migration is also personal. I was born in Chania, Greece to Australian Citizen parents and was fortunate to have a relatively straightforward pathway to Australian citizenship. I know that for many people, however, the journey to Australia can be stressful, complicated and uncertain. That is something I never lose sight of when working with a client.
Before establishing Olympus Migration, I spent more than 15 years in managerial roles, including with IBM, General Motors, SingTel and NGK Japan, as well as working with two boutique Australian migration law firms.
I founded Olympus Migration in 2022 because I wanted to create a migration agency that treated people the way I believe they should be treated — with honesty, respect, transparency and genuine care.
That philosophy still guides us today. We offer complimentary 60-minute consultations, transparent and competitive professional fees, and flexible payment plans of up to 15 months.

Our Name, Our Meaning
Olympus (from the Ancient Greek word Όλυμπος) takes its name from Mount Olympus, the highest and most revered mountain in Greece. In mythology, it was the home of the Gods — a place of strength, hope, and destiny. Today, people from all over the world climb its peaks, drawn by a sense of purpose and the belief that they can reach something greater.
Migration (from the Latin word migrātiō) means movement, change, and new beginnings. It is the journey people take when they leave behind the familiar, carrying their hopes and fears, in the dream of building a better, safer, and more meaningful life somewhere new.
At Olympus Migration, the name is more than a reference to the Director’s homeland — it reflects what every visa applicant feels. The uncertainty, pressure and fear of the unknown. The hope that all the sacrifice will be worth it.
We believe that the immigration journey can feel like standing at the base of a steep mountain. But when you have someone experienced beside you — someone who has climbed it many times, who knows the safest path, who will not let you fall — the impossible suddenly becomes achievable.

2. Meet with Andreas Athanasiou (RMA)
During your complimentary 1-hour, obligation-free consultation, you will speak directly with our Director, who will take the time to understand your circumstances in detail. You will have the opportunity to ask questions, receive a clear assessment of your eligibility, and be provided with tailored advice along with a written outline of the most suitable visa pathways available to you.

3. Formally Appoint us to Act for You
If you decide to proceed and meet the relevant eligibility criteria, you may formally appoint our office to act on your behalf. You will be provided with a comprehensive Agreement for Services and Fees, clearly outlining the scope of work, professional fees, and terms of engagement. Once this is reviewed and signed, you officially become a valued client of Olympus Migration.

4. We Prepare & Lodge Your Application
Following your appointment, we will issue you with a detailed checklist of required documents tailored to your specific matter. As you begin providing the necessary information, we will carefully prepare your application and supporting documentation. Once you have reviewed and approved our work, we will lodge your application with the Department of Home Affairs.

5. Ongoing Support Until the Decision
After lodgement, our office will manage all correspondence with the Department of Home Affairs on your behalf. We will keep you informed of updates and requests, and remain in contact throughout the process. We may request additional documents after lodgement to ensure your application remains complete. Our representation continues until a final decision is made.

We have an outstanding record of successful outcomes; however, in the scenario that your application is refused, Olympus Migration will, where appropriate and subject to your ongoing eligibility and instructions, assist you with preparing and lodging a further application or a merits review to the Tribunal, without additional professional fees.
