Message by the Founder
My name is Andreas Athanasiou and I am the Founder and the Registered Migration Agent (RMA) at Olympus Migration. With over a decade of experience in the Australian immigration industry, I have been dedicated to helping individuals, families, and businesses navigate the complexities of the visa and migration process.
I became a Registered Migration Agent (RMA) in 2016 and have since provided expert guidance to more than 5,000 immigrants (including individuals, small businesses and large corporations) across a wide range of immigration matters. These include visa applications, sponsorships, tribunal hearings and advice. Over the years, I’ve also had the privilege of representing major Australian companies as well as high-profile clients, including international celebrities and politicians.
I have authored numerous articles on immigration updates, many of which have been featured in prominent Australian news outlets. My expertise has led to appearances on international radio programs and interviews with various universities and online platforms. Over the course of my career, I have provided immigration advice to individuals from more than 100 countries across six continents.
In addition to one-on-one consultations, I have delivered seminars and presentations to corporate clients around the world, including in Australia, the United States, Singapore, Hong Kong, Greece, Italy, Austria, Germany, France, Cyprus, and Malta.
As an immigrant myself, I consider myself fortunate — born in Greece in 1987 to Australian Citizen parents, I was automatically eligible for Australian Citizenship (by Descent). However, I know that many others face far more complex and challenging pathways when migrating to Australia. That perspective drives my commitment to helping individuals and families navigate their own journeys. With over 18 years of experience in managerial roles, I have had the privilege of working at some of the world’s largest organisations (including IBM, General Motors, SingTel, and NGK Japan), as well as serving in leadership positions at two Australian migration law firms between 2015 and 2022. These diverse experiences have allowed me to gain deep insights into best practices, ethical standards, and effective management styles, all of which I have now integrated into the operations and culture of my own firm.
I founded Olympus Migration in October of 2022 and our mission is simple: To help immigrants in the most open, ethical and transparent manner, no matter their background, ethnicity, gender, circumstances and financial capacity.

That’s why I offer complimentary 60-minute consultations — whether in person, by phone, or via Zoom — to all prospective clients. You will never be charged for a consultation, because you deserve better.
Our professional fees are competitive, transparent, and fair. To further reduce financial stress, we offer flexible payment plans with instalments spread over a period of up to 15 months. Our goal is to support you every step of the way—just like family, 365 days a year.

Our Name, Our Meaning
Olympus (from the Ancient Greek word Όλυμπος) takes its name from Mount Olympus, the highest and most revered mountain in Greece. In mythology, it was the home of the Gods — a place of strength, hope, and destiny. Today, people from all over the world climb its peaks, drawn by a sense of purpose and the belief that they can reach something greater.
Migration (from the Latin word migrātiō) means movement, change, and new beginnings. It is the journey people take when they leave behind the familiar, carrying their hopes and fears, in the dream of building a better, safer, and more meaningful life somewhere new.
At Olympus Migration, the name is more than a reference to the Director’s homeland — it reflects what every visa applicant feels. The uncertainty, pressure and fear of the unknown. The hope that all the sacrifice will be worth it.
We believe that the immigration journey can feel like standing at the base of a steep mountain. But when you have someone experienced beside you — someone who has climbed it many times, who knows the safest path, who will not let you fall — the impossible suddenly becomes achievable.

Following your appointment, we will issue you with a detailed checklist of required documents tailored to your specific matter. As you begin providing the necessary information, we will carefully prepare your application and supporting documentation. Once you have reviewed and approved our work, we will lodge your application with the Department of Home Affairs.

After lodgement, our office will manage all correspondence with the Department of Home Affairs on your behalf. We will keep you informed of updates and requests, and remain in contact throughout the process. We may request additional documents after lodgement to ensure your application remains complete.
