Message by the Founder
My name is Andreas Athanasiou and I am the Founder and the Senior Registered Migration Agent (RMA) at Olympus Migration.
With over a decade of experience in the Australian immigration industry, I have been dedicated to helping individuals, families, and businesses navigate the complexities of the visa and migration process.
I became a Registered Migration Agent (RMA) in August 2016 and have since provided expert guidance to more than 5,000 immigrants — including individuals, corporations, and government bodies — across a wide range of immigration matters.
These include visa applications, sponsorships, tribunal hearings and advice. Over the years, I’ve also had the privilege of representing major Australian companies as well as high-profile clients, including international celebrities and political figures.
I have authored numerous articles on Migration Law, many of which have been featured in prominent Australian news outlets. My expertise has led to appearances on international radio programs and interviews with various universities and online platforms. Over the course of my career, I have provided immigration advice to individuals from more than 100 countries across six continents.
In addition to one-on-one consultations, I have delivered seminars and presentations to both individual and corporate clients around the world, including in Australia, the United States, Singapore, Hong Kong, Greece, Italy, Austria, Germany, France, Cyprus, and Malta.
As an immigrant myself, I consider myself fortunate — born in Greece in 1987 to Australian Citizen parents, I was automatically eligible for Australian Citizenship (by Descent).
However, I understand that many others face far more complex and challenging pathways to immigration. That perspective drives my commitment to helping individuals and families navigate their own journeys. With over 17 years of experience in managerial roles, I have had the privilege of working with some of the world’s largest organisations — including IBM, General Motors, Singtel Optus, and NGK Japan — as well as serving in leadership positions at two Australian migration law firms. These diverse experiences have allowed me to gain deep insights into best practices, ethical standards, and effective management styles, all of which I have now integrated into the operations and culture of my own firm.
I founded Olympus Migration in October of 2022 and our mission is simple: To help immigrants in the most open, ethical and transparent manner, no matter their background, ethnicity, gender, circumstances and financial capacity.

What does ‘Olympus Migration’ mean?
Olympus (from the Ancient Greek word Όλυμπος) is a reference to Mount Olympus, the highest mountain in Greece. In Greek mythology, Mount Olympus was the home of the Greek Gods. Today, thousands of yearly visitors admire its fauna and flora, tour its slopes, and climb its peaks.
Migration (from the Latin word Migrātiō) means an instance of movement to another place. Human migration is the movement of people from one place to another with the intention of settling, permanently or temporarily, at a new location.
Other than the reference to the Director's homeland, at Olympus Migration, we believe that getting your Visa or Citizenship approved can be like climbing a steep mountain.
