Code of Conduct & Consumer Guide

Before providing immigration assistance to a client, a Registered Migration Agent is required to provide the client with a copy of the RMA Consumer Guide. The RMA Consumer Guide explains your rights as a client, what you can expect from a Registered Migration Agent, and how concerns or complaints may be raised with the Office of the Migration Agents Registration Authority (OMARA). You can access the RMA Consumer Guide through the OMARA website or directly via this link. Registered Migration Agents must also comply with the Migration (Migration Agents Code of Conduct) Regulations 2021 (link), which establish professional and ethical obligations relating to matters including competence, client communications, service agreements, fees, client money, confidentiality and professional conduct.
